Hol Familia!

This week has been good, it's starting to warm up here which is nice because we don't have the pouring rain. We don't have dryers to dry our clothes so we leave them out during the day, when It rains it soaks our clothes so we have to wash them over again so it has been nice not worrying about that. Also, this past Saturday we baptized a mom and her two daughters it was really nice. We have been working with them about a month and seeing the restored gospel enter their lives has been a testimony to me. I gotta keep this one short, but thank you for all your support, Emails and everything!

Hola padre,
Got your package! I received it this past Thursday. President Cox and his wife brought it to me when I had interviews with him (They haven't gotten moms letter yet). Thanks! I had been dying for some candy. I don't buy much candy or anything to eat at the house. I really have to budget my money because we use alot of our money to buy taxis to bring our investigators to church.

Buenas Tardes madre,
Como te vas??Ojala todo esta bien. Everything is good here, this week was really good. We have been tracting in some different neighborhoods of our area, so we have found a few more people to teach. Thursday was nice, my comp and I rode the bus (the buses here are absolutely insane)to central Irapuato were we met President Cox and his wife and all of our zone for interviews. We had a really good interview. I'm really really blessed to have them as my mission presidents they both really care about me.

Love ya!! El Elder Salazar

Hey Ben, this is Bro. Yuen. Your mom told me about your blog, so I had to check it out. It's awesome to see the work pushing forward & to see the fire in your eyes. If you have the time, post something for the ward & I'll post your letters & pics on the ward website. God Speed Brother!!!

Elder Salazar,

The folks in your area are so blessed to have you. Bro. B and I were joking around the other day about you. We were laughing at you keeping your comp on time - we just could not imagine those words comming out of your mouth. You've really come to know how to be effective and I know that will bless your life while on your mission and after your mission.

The stake had our Pioneer Trek this past week. It was more difficult than I had imagined. I have blisters on my feet and I thought I was going to pass out a couple of times - it was so blazing hot and strenuous. A couple of girls went down and one had to go to the hospital for dehydration. Girls!! they don't drink because they don't want to pee-what is that about??? Our testimonies were strengthened and friendships enhanced - everybody got along great - it was one big party at night.

You are in our prayers. Stay safe, work hard, and have fun.

Hola Elder Salazar. Estas bien? Mucho trabajo in Leon si??

Well, that's all the spanish you get from me. Your blog is most excellent. It's cool to see your visual diary. I think I'm going to take my laptop to church and show the priests your blog.
Hey what kind of goodies do you like? Let us know and who knows, a package might find its way to you.
You are awesome Elder Salazar.
Siempre tu amigo en Jesus Christo,
